Sports poster analysis
The poster style displays player from the top teams in the premiere league which is shown by sky sports. This enables people to straight away recognise what is being shown as these are well known players. Sky sports uses the same format by overlapping people in a pyramid effect possibly showing the main star at the time. The font being used is the typical sky sports logo and no other writing is being displayed. Even though there is no writing the audience will still be able to recognise what it is by its distinct layout. The colour they have used for the background is a blue which is one of the two main colours associated with sky sports one being red and the other being blue.
This poster style displays drivers in formula 1. A common
feature in their posters is that they overlap people and have a front man. This
time it is max Verstappen as he is Dutch, and this is a poster for the Dutch
grand prix. The colour scheme is orange as orange is a colour associated with
the Netherlands in sports. There are two types of fonts displayed, one is a
smaller font which shows there the race is taking place. The other font is much
larger and is almost a reminder that there is going to be a race.
This poster style is a memorial for Serena Williams and her
accomplishments in the sport. The poster has a collage of her possibly her ley
moments in her career. The first font is small block capitals of her first
name. Then her last name is in an orange colour in a big font. This might be
for her last name being recognisable from her sister and her father being
extremely popular in the sporting world.
