Statement of Intent
Statement of
intent:
My adverts will
follow the rules of advertising standards authority i.e.: it will not contain nudity,
any sort of drug use, violence and prejudice. I will make sure it remains on
topic and contain themes that are suitable for a younger audience as it is
aimed for a public display. In this being a sports magazine, I will stay with
it being non-biased. I will stay to who is being represented and contain
information in the instance about sport and sporting figures and why they are being
represented remaining about sport. I will ensure that what I am presenting
about is not too offensive or harming towards the subject and those reading. I
will not portray anyone in a negative way and will ensure the product and
audience are all portrayed in a positive light and keep a young and energetic
mood throughout.
To attract
my target audience, 16–25-year-olds, I would try to keep writing in short
portions to retain focus and not to be easily bored. My images would contain
aspects of the sports, possibly being a football or a bowling ball be pending
on the sport. I would ensure to keep clear what sport I am discussing and not
cause confusion. I will keep a particular colour scheme throughout my work only
containing 3 to 4 colours to keep it clean and not messy. In my blog, I will
contain research, planning, statement of intent and my finished products. My
images will contain relevance to what my blog is about being ten pin bowling. I
will also only have 3 to 4 fonts to keep my blog tidy and easy on the eye. My
tag lines will display what I will be talking about in my blog, give the
audience an insight into it. When creating the blog, I will consider what will
attract the target audience from the colour I use. As it is majority a male
target audience, I will need to consider what colours and fonts would typically
be on a “males” blog.
